Play Therapy

I am experienced in therapy for adolescents and children as young as five years old. I am trained in play therapy and play therapy techniques, I've counselled in bereavement, divorce, blended families, psychosocial oncology, grief support, structural family therapy and trauma. Services are offered on Bainbridge Island and in the Seattle area in culturally diverse and sensitive environment.

With prompt and skilled therapy interventions for coping with divorce, therapy for children is often more brief than for adults, as they have had a shorter time in which to develop symptoms and are generally flexible and resilient. I am always willing to provide a free phone consultation for parents to determine whether or not the presenting issue seems to warrant therapy and to provide suggestions as to the best possible approach.
